Lorenzo USC Spring 2026 Semester Tuition Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

• Sponsor: The Lorenzo USC Spring 2026 Semester Tuition Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by The Lorenzo, with its principal place of business at 325 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007 (hereinafter “Sponsor”).
• Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who; (a) maintain a current, active lease at The Lorenzo as of September 1, 2025; (b) will be enrolled as full-time students at the University of Southern California (“USC”) for the Spring 2026 semester; and (c) are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, GHP Management, or their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising or promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family members (defined as spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to participate or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Proof of eligibility, including, but not limited, to a valid lease agreement and USC enrollment documentation (e.g., student identification number or official enrollment verification), must be provided upon request as a condition to receiving the Prize.
• Entry Period: The Sweepstakes begins on March 14, 2025, at 12:00:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends on September 1, 2025, at 11:59:59 PM PST (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received by the end of the Entry Period to be eligible.
• How to Enter: All eligible residents of The Lorenzo, as defined in Section 2, will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. No action is required to enter. Limit one (1) entry per person. Any attempt to submit multiple entries will result in disqualification. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors, technical failures, or other issues that may impact entry records.
  
  Alternative Entry Method: Eligible participants may enter by mailing a 3” x 5” card with their full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and a statement confirming they meet eligibility as required herein, postmarked during the Entry Period and received no later than end of Entry Period. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person.
  
  Any attempt to submit multiple entries will result in disqualification. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors, technical failures, or other issues that may impact entry records.
  
  How To Opt-Out: Participants who do not wish to be entered into the Sweepstakes may opt out by sending an email to info @thelorenzo.com with the subject line "Sweepstakes Opt-Out" and including their full name and The Lorenzo unit number. Alternatively, participants may opt out by mailing a written request to Sweepstakes Opt-Out at 325 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007 postmarked by end of Entry Period. Once an opt-out request is received, the participant will be removed from the Sweepstakes and will not be eligible to win.
• Prize: One (1) prize will be awarded, consisting of payment for one (1) semester of USC tuition for the Spring 2026 academic term for a full-time student to be applied the winner’s Spring 2026 tuition (the “Prize”), with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $34,000, based on the estimated 2025-2026 USC tuition rate of $68,000 per academic year for 12-18 units, subject to potential adjustment by USC. The Prize shall be subject to the terms and conditions (policies, redemptions, expiration dates, etc.), which shall be subject to change, that are established by USC. In the event, USC’s terms and conditions conflict with that of This Sweepstakes, then Sponsor, in its sole discretion shall determine the governing terms. The Prize will be paid directly by Sponsor to USC on behalf of the winner and applied as a credit exclusively to the winner’s Spring 2026 tuition bill for one semester at USC. The Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and may not be redeemed for cash or any other alternative. No substitution of the Prize is permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The winner will be required to provide name, address, phone number, age confirmation and other information in order to receive the prize.
• Winner Selection and Notification: Winner Selection and Notification: One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about September 15, 2025, by Sponsor or its designated representative, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within five (5) business days following the drawing, using the contact information associated with their tenancy at The Lorenzo or otherwise provided to Sponsor at the time of entry. To claim the Prize, the potential winner must respond within seven (7) calendar days of notification and provide all requested verification documentation within seven (7) calendar days of request by Sponsor. Failure to respond or provide required documentation within this period will result in forfeiture of the Prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond to the notification within the time constraints outlined herein, fails to claim the prize as required herein, does not met the state eligibility requirements, is otherwise ineligible to receive the prize, refuses the prize, or has failed to comply with all rules outlined herein, such potential winner shall be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries at Sponsor’s discretion.
• Conditions of Participation: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or engaging in any fraudulent or disruptive conduct. Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Prize may impact the winner’s financial aid eligibility; Sponsor is not responsible for any resulting adjustments to financial aid, tax obligations, or other financial consequences incurred by the winner. Participants assume responsibility for all risk and damages that may result from participation in the Sweepstakes.
• Publicity Release: Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use the winner’s name, likeness, voice, biographical information, and general entry details (e.g., “Michael S., Unit 108”) for advertising, promotional, or other purposes in any media, worldwide, without further compensation or notice or consent.
• Limitation of Liability: Limitation of Liability: Sponsor, GHP Management, and their respective affiliates, agents, and representatives are not responsible for: (a) lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries; (b) technical, hardware, software, or network malfunctions; (c) errors or delays in transmission; or (d) any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the Prize. By entering, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability, loss, damage, or claims arising from or related to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
  
  Participants further agree to waive any and all claims against the Released Parties related to injuries, damages, or losses of any kind resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes. This includes but is not limited to claims based on negligence, breach of contract, or any other legal theory.
  
  Each participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to their participation in the Sweepstakes, violation of these Official Rules, or infringement of any rights of another party.
• No Affiliation: The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with USC.
• Winner List: To obtain the name of the winner, send a written request, accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope, to: The Lorenzo Sweepstakes Winner List, 325 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007. Requests must be received by October 15, 2025.
• Governing Law: The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
